BACKGROUND
The Senate Republican Conference is the formal organization of the 51 Republican Senators, also called the party caucus. As its Chairman, Santorum facilitates the development and dissemination of the Republican agenda in the Senate and assists the Senators to provide a Republican voice to the media and the public.

PREMISE OF THE SUIT
